Ben is an actor, director, fight and movement choreographer, and teacher based in london. He is the co-founder and co-director of the experimental theatre company, No such theatre (nst) and has taught acting, movement, physical theatre, and stage combat at university of northampton, london college of music, and fourth monkey actor training company. ben is also and advanced instructor of the oxygen advantage breathing method.

Mr Peterson

born in st. paul, minnesota, ben moved to chicago in 2007 to study acting at columbia college. during this time he fell in love with the martial arts and avidly studied stage combat and kung fu while working in the theatre with companies like the legendary mary arrchie theater co. in 2012, he moved to london to study ensemble theatre at rose bruford college. in 2014, he moved to new york to pursue directing and ensemble theatre work while supporting himself as a cocktail bartender in manhattan. during this time ben was a frequent company member and director with the physical theatre company, blessed unrest, working alongside artistic director jessica burr. ben moved back to london in 2019 to study movement directing and teaching at the royal central school of speech and drama. In 2021, along with directing partner james christensen, ben co-founded no such theatre. ben continues to produce new work with nst and engage in freelance work as a performer, choreographer, and teacher.
